M-Care training programme for migrant communities

The second module of the M-Care training programme for migrant communities in Europe has kicked off today in Frankfurt.

In the following 3 days the participants will discuss about:

  1. the importance of epidemiological data for advocacy in promoting access to healthcare services for #migrants

  2. #tuberculosis and #hepatitis co-infections

  3. councelling and psychosocial support

  4. instruments to ensure the right to health for migrants

Following a successful first module and being halfway through the programme, the group will seek opportunities and possibilities for future collaborations among the enthusiastic advocates in this room looking to tackle the issues that bar the way to better healthcare services for migrants in Europe. The programme is jointly organised by the European AIDS Treatment Group (EATG) and Africa Advocacy Foundation (AAF).
